The Use of oak barrels in wine-making dates back 2000 years ago. The selection of wood is as important to the craftsman as the selection of grapes is to the winemaker.

The Northern Highlands of Hungary is the mountainous region which is formed by thick forest and spectacular rocks. The Holm Oak(Quercus Petraea) is one of the most prized of the region, and has been used for our barrels.
